Mission Statement

Although we provide many riding activities for our members, we are not a ride group or a Christian club. The Road Riders For Jesus is a ministry. As we ride the highways and back roads, we seek to fulfill the GREAT COMMISSION of our Lord by sharing the Good News of Salvation with others, especially those of the motorcycling world. The Road Riders For Jesus is an exciting motorcycling ministry with a motto that says it all: "Motorcyclists With A Mission"

Community Connections

People are usually thrilled to find a group of friends that they can share common interests with. Being able to combine motorcycle riding with our love of Jesus gives our members a special bond. That is why the Road Riders for Jesus is not just a ministry, but also we have become a family. We are ready to welcome you into this family.

Our History

In August of 1999, several Christian motorcyclists in the St. Louis, MO area came together to form a ministry. The Road Riders For Jesus is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that welcomes all motorcyclists and all brands of motorcycles.

From that time we have grown incredibly. We currently have members and chapters meeting all over the US and several other countries. We have a vision to have chapters in all areas of the U. S. as well as around the world.

Although we are excited by the growth in numbers we are even more excited by the way so many lives have been changed. Many people have taken up the challenge to become more actively involved in reaching the lost for Christ. As a result we have seen many people dedicate or rededicate their lives to God's service. We've seen marriages enriched, parents and children reunited, friendships made and had lots of fun in doing it!

Do you have to ride a certain type of motorcycle?

The Road Riders for Jesus welcomes all brands of motorcycles.

Do you need to go to a specific church?

The Road Riders for Jesus is a non-denominational organization that welcomes all motorcyclists as well as non-motorcyclists.

Is Road Riders for Jesus a church?

No, Road Riders for Jesus is an extension of the church. We encourage our members to be involved in the church of their choice!

What does it cost to join?

There are no monthly or annual dues to belong to the Road Riders for Jesus.

Do I have to "prospect" to wear a patch?

No, we just ask that all members live a lifestyle in accordance with Biblical scriptures and one that honors the Lord Jesus Christ.

How is Road Riders for Jesus supported financially?

Our financial needs are met through tax deductible weekly, monthly, or one time donations from our members. We also receive donations from our chapters and other sources.

What does the M/M on the back patch stand for?

Although we provide many riding activities for our members, we are not just a ride group our Christian club. The Road Riders for Jesus is also a Motorcycle Ministry.

Do you have to be a Christian to belong to the Road Riders for Jesus?

We do not require that you be a Christian to participate in any of our activities, however we do require that members of The Road Riders for Jesus be Christians. This means you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior according to Romans 10:9-10. "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

How do I get a Road Riders for Jesus patch or t-shirt?

Once you have filled out the membership application items such as patches, shirts, hats, and other items with the Road Riders for Jesus logo can be purchased at a Rode Riders for Jesus events or from our online store.

How does a group become a chapter?

A chapter receives its charter after it has at least 8 members and has been meeting for at least 6 months.

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

The Road Riders For Jesus, here after known as RRJ, shall be a non-profit, non-denominational organization of Christian motorcyclists. We are not just a ride group or a Christian club, but we are also a ministry.

As we travel the highways, we seek to fulfill the great commission of our Lord by sharing the Good News of salvation with others, especially those of the motorcycling world.

Living For God

We believe that in order for our members to share the love of God, they must be “Born Again,” according to God’s Holy Word in Romans 10:9&10. That they must exhibit a life style that is pleasing to God and honors His Holy Word.

Riding for Jesus

We believe our motorcycles are tools to be used of the Lord as a way of reaching the lost,encouraging new converts, and providing Christian fellowship.

Led By The Spirit

We believe in the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit and as the doors of ministry opportunity are opened, we will share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God. This is achieved by participating in secular, as well as Christian events such as rallies,and other related activities.
